Really? What do you call it instead? I heard some people saying Christmas, but I've never heard of either one before this week.

I've only ever heard it as Christmas, but Starlight has a nice ring to it.

Are you not familiar with any winter holiday like this, or just by a different name?

Truthfully... I get the idea of a holiday, but I can't think of any sort of celebration that I would've known about - and that's all year round. I can imagine any time a harvest comes in, that would be worth celebrating having enough food for winter, but that's before winter itself.

Honestly, that's not too hard to believe. [Just because he can't not imagine a bunch of holidays permeating cultures doesn't mean there aren't possible cultures that don't have calendar days for things like Christmas and such.] It seems like a lot of the people around here are familiar with holidays that the Near Shore celebrates. If you're interested in learning more about them, you can probably get a good feel for them just by watching what happens there.

It's not just that. I'm okay with reading up on things that I don't know about.

I just wish I'd had time to read up before the holiday itself. Now I feel like I'm behind.

[ Yoon seeks out Keith with something folded neatly, then wrapped in a traditional furoshiki cloth for presentation of the gift. Inside the giftwrap is a black shirt with red accents that Yoon made himself, based on a Mexican pattern. There's a tag inside that indicates Yoon made it, and it belongs to Keith.

Inside is a handwritten note to give a hint as to why that style: ] To commemorate how we met. - Yoon
